We've partnered with a leading international property development, investment, and asset management company based in London, and they’re on the lookout for a Property Accountant to join their team. Our client has an impressive portfolio of prestigious office and retail properties spread across the UK, Continental Europe, and Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Property Accountant who is eager to work with international portfolios. The position will be a fixed-term contract lasting between 12 to 14 months.

Remuneration:
£60,000 – 65000 + Benefits
The Role:
This position offers the opportunity to manage international portfolios, including the review of quarterly management accounts which include Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review quarterly accounts (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and ensure all deadlines are met.
Analyse monthly cash flows and variances in the property portfolio, resolving any discrepancies.
Collaborate with asset managers on annual budgets and business plans.
Prepare the board book and lead the year-end audit with external auditors.
Manage corporate administration for non-UK companies, including tax oversight.
Handle inter-company balances to ensure accurate portfolio payments.
Review VAT and tax returns, addressing any discrepancies.
Support asset managers in financial reviews of prospective tenants and lease cash flow modelling.
Prepare financial documents and contribute to internal memoranda.
Assist the Finance Manager with projects and other ad-hoc Finance Department tasks.
Requirements:
A background in financial accounting, specifically within the property industry.
Currently Fully qualified as an accountant
Excellent organizational skills combined with a strong analytical approach.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Willingness to travel abroad if necessary.
Previous experience with organizations outside the UK is a plus.
